What a family relocation actually costs

The coordination fee is the small number. Rent, school, counsel, insurance, and the flight are the move. Here is how to read a quote.

What a family relocation actually costs

Families ask for one number. I will not give them one, because a move to a rented flat with a public school is not a move into an international school with a container. What I can do is show which bills are ours and which are not.

Our fee

A first conversation is €99 for up to 60 minutes, or €149 for up to 120. A family relocation mandate starts from €3,400. A home search starts from €990, residence coordination from €890, a school search from €790. Those are coordination fees. They are not a visa, a place at a school, or a lease.

The bills that are larger

Paid to other people

Legal fees, school invoices, rent, a deposit, insurance, flights, and a mover. We do not hold that money, and we do not mark it up into a mystery total.

Paid by time

A rushed file costs more because schools, counsel, and flights get bought late. A year of planning usually costs less panic than a month of it. It does not cost nothing.

If a quote has one price and the words “everything included, visa guaranteed,” do not pay it. Ask which invoice is the lawyer’s and which is ours.
