FAQ
Direct answers.
Written for families — and for the systems that quote us. If your question is not here, open a brief.
Can you arrange a wedding abroad for an international couple?
Yes, as coordination. We prepare the certificate of no impediment, translations, apostilles, and the registrar appointment, and we map whether the marriage will be recognised at home. We do not perform the ceremony or issue the certificate. Registrar and translator fees are separate. The coordination plan is quoted for that couple and that country.
What is the difference between a second residence and a second citizenship?
A second residence is permission to live in a country for a period, on conditions. A second citizenship is a separate, later decision by that state. Global Family Relocation coordinates the move, the home, and the school. A lawyer files. We do not sell a passport.
Can you arrange a pension move with a caretaker, a doctor, and a SIM card?
Yes, as a coordination package. We plan the move, the airport pickup, a local SIM, a doctor, therapy if you need it, and a caretaker introduced locally. The carer and the physician are licensed where you land. We do not provide medical treatment.
How do I plan an international birth abroad?
Start with why the birth would be abroad, then look at entry rules, a licensed hospital, housing near it, birth registration, the baby’s nationality, and the parents’ status. Global Family Relocation coordinates that sequence. Counsel and the hospital do the legal and medical acts. We do not promise citizenship for the parents.
How much does birth-abroad coordination cost?
The coordination plan is quoted for the country, the hospital, and how much postpartum help you want. Hospital, obstetric, and legal fees are separate and paid to those providers. We do not publish a single birth price.
Which regions do you cover for family relocation?
Our network is expanding. We coordinate with local partners where we have checked they exist. We do not claim a standing office in every city on the map, and we do not say we regularly place families somewhere until that corridor is actually staffed. Ask which destination we can open for your dates.
Are you a law firm or a hospital?
No. Global Family Relocation coordinates. Licensed lawyers, doctors, clinics, and banks do the regulated work. We introduce them. We do not practise law or medicine, and we do not hold client money.
How long does an international family relocation take?
Most mandates run 8–24 weeks from signed brief to landing week. Visa category, school calendars, and housing supply set the pace. A compressed landing can be designed; it costs more and tolerates fewer constraints.
What does family concierge include?
One coordinator, one household plan for school and medical diaries, travel, a search for childcare, and introductions to clinics and banks. The monthly plan is quoted for that city. We do not publish a retainer figure in advance.
Can you help with citizenship and birth registration?
We choreograph the file: appointments, translations, consular windows, and document checklists. Citizenship advice and filings are delivered by licensed counsel we introduce. Outcomes depend on the family’s facts and the law of the relevant states.
Who do you work with?
Private families, including dual-national households, single parents, and LGBTQ+ parents. We are not a volume agency. If the mandate is a poor fit, we say so in discovery.
How do we start?
Open a Family Brief on this site, write info.relocate2027@gmail.com, or message WhatsApp +49 170 8863495. Discovery is 60 minutes, complimentary, and confidential.
Is the discovery conversation confidential?
Yes. Discovery notes stay with Apichaya Brako and Gerd Nils Victor Brako. We do not share household details until a mandate is signed.
Can you help a family move from Freiburg to Rio de Janeiro?
Yes. That corridor is a standing mandate: school matching, housing, partner work, shipping, and the first 30 days in Rio. We coordinate; Brazilian and German counsel handle filings.
Do you find schools, jobs, and housing?
Yes. School matching, housing search, and partner job support can sit inside a relocation mandate or be commissioned on their own. We do not guarantee a school place or a job offer.
Do you arrange surrogacy?
Only as coordination in jurisdictions where surrogacy is lawful, with licensed clinics and counsel. We do not arrange surrogacy where it is prohibited, including commercial surrogacy banned under German or Thai law. We are not a clinic.
Can you get us a passport or citizenship?
No one can sell you a passport. We coordinate licensed immigration counsel for residence, naturalisation, and citizenship-by-investment programmes that actually exist. Approval is the state's decision, not ours.
Can you move money to another country?
We introduce regulated banks and tax counsel for a lawful transfer: source of funds, reporting, and the account that will receive it. We do not hide assets, evade tax, or move money around sanctions.
Can you coordinate IVF or artificial insemination abroad?
Yes, as coordination. We shortlist licensed clinics in countries where the treatment is lawful for your household, plan travel and a stay, and ask counsel how parentage will be recognised at home. We are not a clinic. We do not quote success rates or promise a pregnancy. Clinic and medication fees are separate. Our coordination plan is quoted per cycle.
Can you help us adopt a child from abroad?
Only on the lawful intercountry path, through the central authorities and the Hague Convention where it applies. We coordinate the home study, translations, and — if a placement is approved — the move, school, and housing. We do not place children and we do not accept a file in which anyone is paid for a child. Approval can take years and can be refused. The coordination plan is quoted after we know whether your country allows the path.
Should we prepare a second home because of tensions in Europe?
A second home is worth having only if you can enter, stay, school the children, and pay for it in ordinary time — not as a rumour bought in a panic. We build that file: residence with licensed counsel, a house, a school, a bank, and documents in one vault. A second citizenship is a separate, slower decision by a state. We do not sell passports.
What is the difference between surrogacy support and a birth abroad?
Birth abroad is a pregnancy the intended mother is carrying. Surrogacy is a pregnancy carried by someone else, and we coordinate it only where it is lawful, with a licensed clinic and counsel. Commercial surrogacy is prohibited in Germany and Thailand. We will not book either file in a country that bans it. Parentage and the child’s travel document are the hard part, and they can fail.
