The first 30 days after you land
The move is not finished at the airport. The first month is a SIM card, a doctor, a school run, and the appointment you already booked.

Families remember the flight. They underestimate the Tuesday after. I write the first 30 days as its own page, because that is where a good plan either becomes a life or a pile of errands.
Week one
A local number, a way to pay for groceries, and the address the school and the clinic will use. If the lease starts later than the flight, the temporary stay has to be booked before you leave, not from the taxi. Airport pickup is a small thing. It is also the hour when children are tired and a parent is supposed to be competent.
The appointments that cannot slip
School
A place that was offered still needs enrolment, uniform, a bus, and a first morning someone walks with the child. If the offer was only a conversation, do not tell the child the school is decided.
A doctor
Register before someone has a fever. Insurance that starts “on arrival” sometimes starts when the card is issued, not when the plane lands. Know which clinic will see you in the gap.
We coordinate that month with you. We do not become the landlord, the insurer, or the school.
