Healthcare after you move: insurance, a doctor, and who to call
International health insurance and a local doctor are part of a family relocation, not an extra you arrange from the airport.

The search is usually “international health insurance for a family moving abroad”, asked after the flights are booked. That is late. A policy has waiting periods, exclusions, and a definition of who counts as resident. A child with a known condition, a pregnancy, or a parent on regular medicine needs the policy read before you give notice on the flat.
Insurance is not a doctor. You still need a clinic that will register a foreign family, a paediatrician, and a plan for the first fever. If someone needs a specialist — oncology, fertility, an operation — that is a separate introduction to a licensed physician. We do not diagnose, and we do not promise a bed.
We coordinate the practical part: which questions to ask the insurer, a shortlist of clinics near the home and the school, and travel if treatment is in another city. The insurer decides the claim. The doctor decides the care.
