Surrogacy support abroad, only where the law allows it

People search “surrogacy abroad” when a pregnancy at home is not possible, or when the home country forbids the arrangement. The first question is not which clinic answers the phone. It is whether the arrangement is lawful for you, in that country, on these facts.

Apichaya Brako does not run a clinic and does not recruit surrogates. Where surrogacy is lawful, we coordinate licensed counsel, a clinic the counsel will work with, travel, housing, and the parentage and registration file. Where it is not lawful, the mandate stops. Commercial surrogacy is heavily restricted in Germany and in Thailand. Those rules are not a suggestion, and we will not design a route around them.

Parentage is the part families underestimate. A birth certificate in one country does not automatically make both intended parents legal parents at home, and it does not automatically make the child a citizen of the country of birth. Jus soli, where it exists, has conditions. Parents are not citizens because a child was born. Any later residence for the parents is a separate, multi-year file and can be refused.

Where surrogacy is lawful, the sequence is counsel, then a clinic, then travel and housing, then registration. Where it is prohibited — commercial surrogacy is heavily restricted in Germany and in Thailand — we stop. We will not help you place the birth in a banned country and call it a holiday.
