Surrogacy abroad: the legal considerations
Lawful countries, parentage, the child’s passport, and the arrangements we will not touch.

The first question is not the clinic. It is whether your home country will recognise you as the parents and issue a passport. If the answer is no, or if the arrangement is a criminal offence where you live, we stop.
Where it is lawful, the file has a lawyer in the birth country and a lawyer at home. The birth certificate has to name the people the law says it should name. A certificate that flatters you and fails a border is a failure.
We do not recruit surrogates, we do not pay them in cash, and we do not work with anyone who offers a child as a product. Coordination means the map and the documents, after two lawyers have said the map is legal.
Adoption is a different institution. If what you need is adoption, say so. Mixing the words is how families walk into the wrong statute.
